Tweaked Skulg’s design a bit. I love my little monster baby!
A birthday gift for toddmonotony who asked for angry owls with silly hats this year.
Mr. Owl saw that stare of yours. You should have known better than to subtlely judge his cheese hat. He’s gonna break your face.
Just letting you know: I don’t mind if you delete my artist’s comments on reblog, as long as you keep me as the original source, so feel free to do so if you wish!
I know it’s very important to many fellow artists that you leave their comments under the post, so please be so kind and respect their wish - I’m just saying I personally don’t mind, for mine are usually a lot of personal rambling and you don’t necessarily have to put that on your blog if you don’t identify with it, but enjoy the picture.
Thank you for reading!
Doing some self-healing. And what’s a better start for that than celebrating yourself a little? See Skulg in all her gross glory. Bestia ex machina, the beast from the machine.
Born into a world slowly turning digital, computers were an important part of my childhood - however heavily demonized by older generations among family and friends. Computers would make me a bad person; all I’d do was “playing”. Not teaching myself how to draw digitally, learning to speak and write fluent English, maintaning wonderful friendships with lovely people from other countries, broadening my horizon concerning views and ethical values - nope, just playing and therefore not going anywhere in life. Well, here I am - the horrible, horrible monster I’ve become thanks to the big bad machine - actually going somewhere in my life, surrounded by awesome people, and, while I’m at it, fixing your computer. You’re welcome.
I did a thing today. And with ‘did’ I mean ‘wrote’ and with ‘thing’ I mean ‘letter’. Said all the things I’ve been wanting to say for a long time. I have no idea what’s going to happen but I have nothing to lose - only to gain, if at all. All there was to lose, I lost years ago.
I can have my peace of mind now. It’s time to move on.
Look, she’s smiling!
(Obligatory Nine Inch Nails lyrics speech bubble because I’m obviously 15.)
My half of an art trade with nadine-the-pnk! I hope she digs! <3
Those are some hairy legs there, buddy!
Inspired by nadine-the-pnk, I decided to make my own PNK-sona (a fraternity/species from the animated movie Monsters University; see the originals here). She’s so Rock ‘n’ Roll she shaves off all her butt fluff to fit into those skinny jeans. You don’t wanna know, man!
PNKs are hellalot of fun to draw, especially their facial expressions!
Vent art with a beautiful quote from unknown source.
To someone who is completely oblivious to careful nudges and subtle warnings and most likely forgot this art blog even exists.
Cibex is back on track, baby. After sketching her for MONTHS, here’s finally a piece in which I’m very happy with how she turned out. Based on this old drawing of mine.
I’ve been fiddling around with her personality and appearance a bit and decided to give her back her original body shape; more feline, elegant and fierce instead of the stubby-legged goof nugget she had become over the years as I was trying to depict myself. I have Skulg for that now; Cibex now functions as a stand-alone character.
I decided to even go one step further and revert back to the purple skin she developed 2005-ish. I got rid of it later on because I was trying hard not to make her look like just another sparkledog, but to hell with it, I love it! So there you go. You may even draw her a biohazard ‘tattoo’ (shaved into her fur basically) on her left shoulder if you feel like, for the sake of old times, but shhhhhhhh.
